The big idea...

Greetings Leverage Community!

We thought we would take the time today to share a little about how we got started...

For those of you who are family or friends, you have seen this story unfold over the last couple years first hand (mainly because we’ve hit you up for your much appreciated and unwavering support). So, for the rest of the world who might be curious, here’s some background info:

The idea for this business, like many other great inventions, was born out of our own personal frustrations with being a consumer over the last decade. Think of all of the ways that shopping has become more complicated for us – loyalty programs, rewards points, frequent flyer miles, coupons, gift cards that we forget about or lose, endless advertisements interrupting us at every turn, emails clogging our inboxes – who has time to wade through all of this nonsense to get to what you actually want.

We figured that if it felt unmanageable to us, there might be at least a few other people who shared our pain. After working nights and weekends in early 2005 and beginning full time a few months thereafter, we were finally able to launch the Leverage website just before Christmas of 2007.

We are so grateful for those of you who have already registered and have begun taking advantage of the services that are available at www.leveragecard.com. The email suggestions about the website and brands to add are much appreciated as we continue to make the site better every day.

We’ve got so many more features that we’ll be bringing online over the next few months and years and we hope that you’ll be even more delighted once we roll those out.
